APPLICATION:

Structural design of air-supported structures used for buildings.
This applies to buildings described in Sentence 1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A and buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence 1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A] that are required to be designed to the requirements of Part 4.

INTENT:

To limit the probability that the detailed design, erection and maintenance of air-supported structures are not carried out in accordance with a suitable comprehensive standard in harmony with the detailed requirements of Part 4, which could lead to structural failure, which could lead to harm to persons.
