Fire protection around steam or hot water radiators
and convectors, in buildings described in Sentence
1.3.3.2.(1) of Division A, that are:
- located in a recess or concealed space, or
- attached to the face of a wall of combustible construction.
INTENT:
To limit the probability that inadequate protection will
lead to long-term exposure of combustible materials to low-grade heat, which
could lead to the ignition of the combustible materials, which could lead
to harm to persons.
