Minimum depth below ground level of foundations for exterior steps that have more than 2 risers and 2 treads, serving buildings to which Part 9 applies [see Sentence
1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application
of Part 9].
INTENT:
To direct Code users to Section
9.12., which
contains requirements regarding foundations for exterior concrete stairs.
