and basements in Part 9 buildings [see Sentence
1.3.3.3.(1) of Division A for application of Part 9].
INTENT:
To limit the probability that, in an emergency, all means
of egress will be blocked, which could lead to persons being trapped in a
bedroom, which could lead to harm to persons.
