APPLICATION:
This sentence applies to all buildings regulated by the provisions of Part 5.
INTENT:
The intent of this sentence is to require that building envelope components deflect
precipitation and provide provision for drainage of precipitation to the exterior.
Face sealing of cladding systems alone is not an acceptable practice.
