ORDER IN COUNCIL

Dissolution of Improvement District – Florence Lake Improvement District and Assets, Obligations and References Transfer – Capital Regional District.

Notice is hereby given that Order in Council No. 580 was approved and ordered on October 25, 2021 authorizing:

1. Letters Patent issued on August 21, 1975 (OIC 2749/1975) incorporating the Florence Lake Improvement District are revoked and FLID is dissolved.

2. Assets, obligations, and references of/to FLID are transferred to and assumed by the Capital Regional District.

3. This OIC is authorized under sections 680 and 681 of the Local Government Act, [R.S.B.C. 2015].

A copy of the OIC, may be viewed or obtained from the Governance and Structure Branch of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, 800 Johnson Street, PO Box 9839 STN Prov Govt, Victoria, BC V8W 9T1 or viewed at the offices of the Capital Regional District (625 Fisgard Street, Victoria, BC) during normal hours of operation.
