CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On November 15, 2017, at the 100 block of Menzies Street, Victoria, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Victoria Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2005 Chevrolet Uplander; BCLP: EM655K; VIN: 1GNDV23L85D264577, on or about 10:00 Hours, and $6039 CAD; $574 USD, on or about 10:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5240.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On June 28, 2017, at Fir Street & Fir Avenue, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $480 CAD, $130 CAD, $800 CAD, $440 CAD, $20.50 CAD, and $240 CAD, on or about 17:26 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5302.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On September 29, 2017, at West 73rd Avenue & Osler Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $465 CAD, $8.50 CAD, a Blackberry cell phone, and a Samsung cell phone, on or about 02:53 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5306.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On September 17, 2017, at Old Yale Road and Willow Lane, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $940 CAD, on or about 16:09 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5320.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 6, 2017, at the 11700 block of 225th Street, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $8,069 CAD, $360.10 CAD, $5 CAD, $8 USD, two scales, an Apple iPad mini, a Swann HD DVR, a Lorex DVR, and a Hikvision recorder, on or about 13:47 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5337.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 2, 2015, at 24th Avenue and 156th Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Lower Mainland Integrated Road Safety Unit RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,455 CAD and $50 CAD, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5339.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 4, 2017, at 4700 Kingsway Street, Burnaby, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2012 blue Honda CR-V; ABLP: BXX6338; VIN: 2HKRM4H95CH112791, on or about 23:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5346.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under sections 249.1(1) (Flight from police), 348(1) (Break & enter), and 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On June 7, 2016, at the 100 block of East 11th Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the North Vancouver RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,075 CAD and $100 CAD, on or about 03:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5347.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 12, 2017, on Highway 11 North of Harris Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,600 CAD and three ZTE cell phones, on or about 12:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5348.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On May 27, 2015, at the 8200 block of 17A Street, Dawson Creek, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Dawson Creek RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $8,000 CAD, on or about 15:32 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5353.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 23, 2017, at the 1400 block of West Georgia Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,259 CAD and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 03:22 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5377.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On May 21, 2017, at the 13000 block of 72nd Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2010 Mazda 3; VIN: JM1BL1HF9A1242005, on or about 13:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5389.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 343 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 13, 2017, at the 6600 block of Main Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2009 Toyota Venza, BCLP: DA371F, VIN: 4T3BE11AX9U001995, on or about 15:57 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5401.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On May 25, 2012, at the 9800 block of Miracle Way, Youbou, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the FSOC RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2008 white Ford F150; BCLP: AD9678; VIN: 1FTPW14588FA86014, on or about 14:58 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5403.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.

AND:

On October 29, 2014, at the 11000 block of Scott Road, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $4,128.95 CAD, on or about 19:59 Hours.

On October 30, 2014, at 14355 57th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,670.55 CAD, on or about 00:56 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5415.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On September 3, 2017, at the 700 block of Seymour Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department (VPD) seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $9,984.25 CAD; $90 USD; $40 EUR; $10 AUD, on or about 19:30 Hours.

On September 4, 2017 at the 1000 block of Howe Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $501.75 CAD; $.50 USD; $834.40 CAD; $2 USD, on or about 01:00 Hours.

On September 21, 2017 at the 100 block of Keefer Place, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $144.05 CAD, on or about 15:00 Hours.

On September 2, 2017 at the 1000 block of Granville Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the VPD seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,326.80 CAD, on or about 20:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5419.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 2, 2017, at the 13600 block of 100th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $18,820 CAD, $1,190 CAD, $480 CAD, and $860 USD, on or about 01:25 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5431.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 22, 2017, at the 1400 block of Bankhead Crescent, Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $9,133 CAD, on or about 13:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5436.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 14, 2017, at 755 16th Street, West Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the West Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as $12,020 CAD and a Blackberry cell phone, on or about 11:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5449.
