Closing date: December 8, 2004, at the Campbell River Forest District Office.

Geographic location: Olsen Lake.

Estimated volume: 26 062 cubic metres.

Upset stumpage rate: The upset stumpage rate was determined by the market pricing system, and is applicable only to coniferous green sawlog grades.

Term: 24 months.

Logging method: This timber sale licence has been designed for harvesting using overhead cable/ground based. The use of other systems may be subject to the Forest and Range Practices of British Columbia Act and its regulations.

Upst stumpage rate for competitive volumes: Timber Mark, 67042; product, sawlog; volume, 25 713 cubic metres; rate, $38.73 per cubic metre.

Species: Fir (55%), hemlock (24%), cedar (12%), cypress (7%), alder (1%) and balsam (1%), more or less.

This licence is subject to, among other things, new maximum term limits and exension fee provisions and surrender provisions.

Geographic location: Kuzkwa, north portion of the Stuart-Nechako Business Area.

Logging method: This timber sale licence has been designed for harvest using conventional roadside.

Species: Lodgepole pine (62%) and spruce (36%), more or less.

This licence is fully developed and requires the building of approximately 3.445 kilometres of on-block road. The successful applicant will be required to enter into a road use agreement with Stuart Lake Road Users Committee.

Please Note: This is a bonus offer sale for cottonwood and alder only. All other species will remain standing and will not be harvested.
