Re: Reporting of Members Suspended or Disbarred

Following a hearing under the Legal Profession Act, SBC 1998, c. 9, a hearing panel found that Hong Guo of Richmond, British Columbia is guilty of professional misconduct. In its decision issued on January 17, 2022, the Hearing Panel ordered Hong Guo be suspended from the practice of law for a period of one month.

On April 28, 2022, the Court of Appeal for British Columbia dismissed Hong Guo’s appeal. Hong Guo is suspended from the practice of law from May 1, 2022 to May 31, 2022. [my5]
