Take notice that, pursuant to section 13 of the Forest Act, the Minister of Forests and Range has authorized the Regional Manager of the Southern Interior Forest Region to invite "persons" to submit applications for a non-replaceable forest licence to harvest priority insect-damaged stands of timber from specified areas of Crown land within the Okanagan Timber Supply Area.
Non-replaceable Forest Licence A80589 will have a term of two years and an allowable annual cut of 30 000 cubic metres per year from stands meeting the licence criteria.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake all operational planning, engineering and silviculture work, and associated costs under this licence and in accordance with the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act, Forest and Range Practices Act, and any associated regulations.
