CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On February 7, 2017, at the 100 block of Ioco Road, Port Moody, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Port Moody Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $95.05 CAD and $2 USD, on or about 08:35 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4453. The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On March 29, 2015, at Clement Avenue near Ethel Street, Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $60 CAD, on or about 20:30 Hours; and

On June 19, 2015, at the 1000 block of Sunset Drive, Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $455.25 CAD and a BlackBerry cell phone, both on or about 16:45 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4533.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On April 12, 2017, at Hwy 97C east of Merritt, British Columbia, Peace Officer(s) of the SED Traffic Services seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $7,480 CAD, on or about 14:15 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4543.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On October 29, 2014, at the 13000 block of 109th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $725 CAD, $87.25 CAD, $15 CAD, three $1 silver coins, and 25 pesos, on or about 20:48 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4555.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.

AND:

On December 25, 2016, at the 7000 block of Helmcken Street, Vancouver, BC, Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $320 CAD and $330 CAD, on or about 2350 hours; and

On January 11th, 2017, at the 6000 block of Lankark Street, Vancouver, BC, Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $480 CAD, on or about 0930 hours. CFO file number: 2017-4560.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On April 28, 2013, at 6869 Lougheed Highway, Agassiz, B.C. (Agassiz), and at 190 Lillooet Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs, B.C. (Harrison), Peace Officer(s) of the Agassiz RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $410.52 CAD, on or about 03:00 Hours (Agassiz), and $6,007 CAD, on or about 03:00 Hours (Harrison). CFO file number: 2017-4600.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 14, 2016, at Main Street and East 4th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,095 CAD, on or about 21:14 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4615.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 25, 2016, at 2660A Parkview Street, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Abbotsford Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $225 CAD, on or about 19:44 Hours, $7 CAD, on or about 19:35 Hours, $1,760.30 CAD, on or about 17:09 Hours, and $25 CAD, on or about 19:35 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4622.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.

AND:

On April 18, 2017, at 850 Caledonia Avenue, Victoria B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Victoria Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,415 CAD and a black Samsung cell phone G930W8, on or about 19:30 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4628.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 16, 2016, at the 900 block of Salter Street, New Westminster, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the New Westminster Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2000 Volkswagen Jetta, VIN: 3VWRA29M5YM121621, on or about 09:25 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4641.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 3, 2014, at the 5400 block of 198th Street, Langley, British Columbia, Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,715 CAD, on or about 12:50 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4660.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On March 2, 2016, at Eider Street and Swan Avenue, Mission, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Mission RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,695 CAD, on or about 09:00 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4662.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 23, 2016, at 2010 Glen Drive, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $15,410 CAD, on or about 14:34 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4675.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On February 25, 2017, at the 1000 block of Granville Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $15,446.05 CAD, on or about 22:20 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4711.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On April 22, 2017, at Tulameen Avenue, Princeton, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Osoyoos RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,200 CAD, on or about 15:15 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4714.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On August 15, 2015, at the 12800 block of Old Yale Road, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $3,430 CAD, on or about 18:35 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4720.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

AND:

On December 21, 2016, at the 23,600 block of Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,627 CAD, on or about 11:00 Hours. CFO file number: 2017-4724.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
