The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.
A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. On October 10, 2014, at the 200 block of Mills Road in Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $7235.00 CAD on or about 11:45 hrs; $3380.00 CAD on or about 11:46 hrs; & $285.00 CAD on or about 07:40 hrs. On October 10, 2014, at the 1400 block of Crawford Road in Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $100.00 CAD on or about 11:44 hrs; $100.00 CAD on or about 11:44 hrs; $6775.00 CAD on or about 11:44 hrs. On October 10, 2014, at the 100 block of Richter Street (Kelowna RCMP Detachment) in Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $550.00 CAD on or about 07:30 hrs; & $108.00 USD on or about 07:30 hrs. The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 19, 2016, at the 20800 block of Lougheed Highway, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $100 CAD, on or about 21:22 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5840.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 5, 2018, at 10200 block of River Road, Delta, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the New Westminster Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2006 BMW 32I, BCLP: FT282C VIN:WBAVB13526KX42066, on or about 10:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5858.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On March 27, 2018, at 8700 block of Granville Avenue, Richmond, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Richmond RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2007 Volkswagen Touareg, BCLP: FS294D, VIN: WVGZE77L97D004063, on or about 22:18 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5872.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On February 18, 2016, at or near the intersection of Cornwall Crescent and 97A Avenue, Dawson Creek, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Dawson Creek RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2008 Nissan Rogue, BCLP: BD589N, VIN: JN8AS58T68W00648, at or around 20:50 hrs; Blackberry cell phone, at or around 20:56 hrs; Samsung cell phone, at or around 20:56 hrs; ZTE cell phone, at or around 20:30 hrs. On February 18, 2016, at the 8200 block of 18 Street, Dawson Creek, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Dawson Creek RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $8500.00 CAD, at or around 22:54 hrs; $365.00 CAD, at or around 22:49 hrs; $1020.00 CAD, at or around 23:05 hrs; $65.00 CAD, at or around 23:09 hrs; $2080.00 CAD, at or around 23:18 hrs; $16,430.00 CAD, at or around 23:10 hrs; Blackberry cell phone, at or around 22:36 hrs; LG cell phone, at or around 23:08 hrs; ZTE cell phone, at or around 23:21 hrs. The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On February 21, 2018, at the 46200 block of Yale Road, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Chilliwack RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $566.20 CAD, $10 CAD, and two Lenovo laptop computers, on or about 20:27 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5885.
The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the CDSA.
AND:
On May 9, 2018, at or near the intersection of 130 Street & 87th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2006 Pontiac Torrent, BCLP: FN660W, VIN: 2CKDL63F966113160, on or about 03:00 Hours, Samsung cell phone, on or about 03:00 Hours, and LG cell phone, on or about 03:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5906.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property hadbeen used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession forpurpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 1, 2018, at or near the intersection of 132 Street & 76 Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $520.00 CAD, on or about 16:55 Hours, iphone cell phone, on or about 17:03 Hours, iphone cell phone, on or about 17:04 Hours, Samsung cell phone, on or about 17:05 Hours, and 2004 Kia Spectra, BCLP: FN986X, VIN: KNAFB161945137275, on or about 16:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5907.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On March 13, 2018, at or near the intersection of Cambie Street & West 27 Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2002 Mazda MPV, BCLP: FR247M VIN: JM3LW28A020313581, on or about 16:45 Hours, and $543.75 CAD, on or about 16:45 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5909.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On September 26, 2017, on or about 21:15 Hours, at 1100 block of Melville Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2012 Hyundai Elantra, BCLP: BCLP# FE724C, VIN: 5NPDH4AEXCH063027, Glue Gun, Mastercraft clamp, Dremel Tool accessory kit (incomplete), Dremel Cut off store, Dremel Tool, Ryobi charger and batteries, Drill bits, Ryobi drills, Fluke Multimeter, Mastercraft hex key set, Miscellaneous Hand tools, Tool bags containing hand tools, Ryobi light, Ryobi circular saw, Ryobi reciprocating saw, Socket sets, Battery charger, PA 35 actuators, Extension cords, Rubbermaid tote containing miscellaneous shop supplies and hand tools, two airbags, Power supply. CFO file Number: 2018-5913.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 7 (1) (Prohibition on after-market compartment) of the Amoured Vehicle and After-Market Compartment Act of British Columbia and was therefore an instrument of unlawful activity as defined by section 1 (1) of the Civil Forfeiture Act of British Columbia.
AND:
On March 8, 2018, at Highway #1, west of Highway #93S, near Banff, Alberta, Peace Officer(s) of the Alberta Sheriffs Branch seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2008 BMW X3, SKLP: 940KSY, VIN: WBXPC73498WE52377, on or about 14:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5914.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 279 (1) (Kidnapping), section 279 (2) (Forcible confinement), and section 344 (1) (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Canada and was therefore offence-related property pursuant to section 2 (Definitions) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On February 26, 2017, at the 9400 block of Cook Street, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $604.50 CAD, on or about 17:59 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5928.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 344 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On December 12, 2017, at the 19700 block of 55th Avenue, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $830 CAD and $12.40 CAD, on or about 09:45 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5937.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 8, 2016, at Highway 3 and Highway 3B, Castlegar, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Castlegar RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $840 CAD, on or about 11:19 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5938.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 10, 2017, at the 12800 block of 58th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $695 CAD, on or about 12:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5940.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 22, 2018, at the 2600 block of Quince Street, Prince George, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Prince George RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $270 CAD, on or about 02:23 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5943.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property hadbeen obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 13, 2018, at 1190 Richter Street, Kelowna, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Kelowna RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $60 CAD and $488.60 CAD, on or about 11:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5944.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 22, 2018, at Schoolhouse Street and Sprice Avenue, Coquitlam, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $290 CAD, on or about 03:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5958.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 15, 2016, at the 2900 block of Silver Springs Boulevard, Coquitlam, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Burnaby RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $270 CAD, on or about 17:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5959.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On January 6, 2016, at 116th Avenue and Cottonwood Drive, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $615 CAD and an Apple iPhone, on or about 15:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5962.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 5, 2018, at the 500 block of East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $427 CAD, on or about 19:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5968.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 12, 2018, at North Road and Cameron Avenue, Burnaby, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the CFSEU RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $295 CAD, on or about 21:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5977.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On October 29, 2015, at the 4400 block of Highway 16 West, Prince George, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Prince George RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $660 CAD and $5 CAD, on or about 16:56 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5984.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 7, 2015, at 132nd Street and 60B Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $890 CAD, between 16:05 and 17:02 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5987.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On June 27, 2017, at the 8800 block of 144th Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Coquitlam RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $820 CAD, $70 CAD, $11.10 CAD, and $10 CAD, on or about 10:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5992.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 25, 2016, at Highway 1 at exit 153, near Hope, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Fraser Valley Traffic Services seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $877.40 CAD, on or about 18:25 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5995.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5 (2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On June 22, 2018, at Highway 1 & Annis Road, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Lower Mainland Roving Traffic Services seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, BCLP: GB626C, VIN: 5N1AR2MN6FC61802, on or about 12:29 Hours.
