Geographic location: D'easum Creek, Fort Nelson Forest District.
Estimated volume: 12 304 cubic metres.
Species: Spruce, 7727 cubic metres (63%); lodgepole pine, 2803 cubic metres (23%); balsam, 347 cubic metres (3%); birch, 659 cubic metres (5%); aspen, 489 cubic metres (4%) and cottonwood, 279 cubic metres (2%), more or less.
The preceding volumes are estimates based on statistical samples. Bidders are strongly advised to conduct a thorough field review to verify estimates.
Term: Two years.
Upset stumpage rate: $21.18 per cubic metre. The upset stumpage rate was determined in accordance with the Coast/Interior Appraisal Manual and is applicable to coniferous green sawlog grades.

The successful applicant will be required to implement and conform to the Peace-Liard Business Area Environmental Management System.

Take notice that, pursuant to section 13 of the Forest Act, the Minister of Forests and Range has authorized the Regional Manager of the Southern Interior Forest Region to invite "persons" to submit applications for a non-replaceable forest licence to harvest priority insect damaged stands of timber from specified areas of Crown land within the Williams Lake Timber Supply Area.
Non-replaceable Forest Licence A79576 will have a term of five years and an allowable annual cut of 50 000 cubic metres per year from stands meeting the licence criteria.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake all operational planning, engineering, and silviculture work and associated costs under this licence in accordance with the Forest and Range Practices Act and any associated regulations.
All eligible applications will be evaluated on the basis of highest bonus bid, pursuant to section 13 of the Forest Act.

The upset stumpage rate of $7.06 per cubic metre for the competitive volume of approximately 8095 cubic metres, is applicable only to coniferous sawlog grades.
This timber sale licence is fully developed.
The upset stumpage rate and the bonus bid now apply to Grade Code (blank) and all other sawlog grade volumes.
Species: Balsam (3%), cedar (29%), hemlock (46%), pine (10%) and spruce (13%), more or less.
