CIVIL FORFEITURE

In the Matter of Part 3.1 (Administrative Forfeiture) of the Civil Forfeiture Act [SBC 2005, C. 29] - the CFA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:

The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.

A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.

On February 13, 2018, at the 300 block Columbia Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $875.40 CAD, on or about 10:24 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5595.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 7, 2017, at the 500 block Richards Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $219.60 CAD, on or about 22:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5596.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On January 24, 2018, at South Island Highway near Rockland Road, Campbell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Campbell River seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2006 Hyundai Sante Fe, Brown, VIN: KM8SB73E66U037683, BCLP: BM585T, on or about 12:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5665.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) and was therefore offence-related property pursuant to section 11 (Search, seizure and detention) of the CDSA.

AND:

On November 3, 2015, at the 46,000 block of 3rd Ave, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo; BCLP: BL521D; VIN: 1J4HR48N35C648464, on or about 12:52 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5679.

On December 15, 2015, at the 43,600 block of Alameda Drive, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2004 Pontiac Grand Am; BCLP: BG570B; VIN: 1G2NF52E04M660679, on or about 23:55 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5679.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On June 4, 2017, at 11 Eagle Court, Osoyoos, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Osoyoos RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a Bulova Watch, on or about 19:46 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5686.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On July 27, 2016, at the 1100 block of 20th Ave, Prince George, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Prince George RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $80 CAD, on or about 16:05 Hours, $396.30 CAD, on or about 17:45 Hours, and $2,680 CAD, on or about 17:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5730.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 18, 2015, at the 500 block South Birch St. (Birch), and on December 17, 2015, at 1st Ave. at Murphy St., (Murphy) both in Campbell River, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Campbell River RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $900 CAD, on or about 01:45 Hours (Birch), and $180 CAD, two LG cell phones and an axe, on or about 12:39 Hours (Murphy). CFO file Number: 2018-5733.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that it had been obtained/used in the commission of an offence contrary to section 5(2) (Possession for the purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada (CDSA) (Murphy), and under warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the CDSA (Birch).

AND:

On September 8, 2016, at the 400 block Machleary Street, Nanaimo, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Nanaimo RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $120 CAD, on or about 05:42 Hours, $25 USD, $4,205 CAD, on or about 17:48 Hours, and $155 CAD, on or about 18:39 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5738.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On October 25, 2017, at 160 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $16,183.65 CAD, on or about 20:49 Hours, $165 USD, on or about 20:49 Hours, and $961.50 CAD, on or about 20:49 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5745.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 15, 2015, at the 43,600 block of Alameda Drive, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2010 MERCEDES-BENZ E 63 AMG; BCLP: ; VIN: WDDHF7HB0AA129065, on or about 23:55 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5769.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada; section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On February 4, 2016, at the 1100 block of Powerhouse Road, Abbotsford, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2002 CADILLAC ESCALADE; BCLP: VIN: 1GYEK63N02R107472, on or about 18:10 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5770.

The subject property was seized because there was a warrant authorized by the court pursuant to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada to seize evidence in respect of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 15, 2015, at the 9600 block of Menzies Street, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2001 BMW 325i; BCLP: BX945P: VIN: WBAAV33401FU75035, on or about 11:29 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5771.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On December 15, 2015, at Vedder Road and South Sumas Road, Chilliwack, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the UFV RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: 2004 Chevrolet Optra; BCLP: BL952A; VIN: KL1JD52Z14K957661, on or about 10:40 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5773.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 5, 2016, at the 300 block Gore Avenue, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $307.75 CAD, on or about 23:45 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5782.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On November 22, 2017, at Columbia Street at Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,800 CAD, on or about 20:55 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5783.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On February 25, 2018, at the 300 block Columbia Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,560 CAD, on or about 19:35 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5784.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.

AND:

On August 2, 2016, at East Hastings at Carrall Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,500 CAD, on or about 19:33 Hours. CFO file Number: 2018-5790.

The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada. [je7]
