The Workers' Compensation Board of British Columbia hereby gives notice of proposed amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (B.C. Reg. 296/97, as amended), the Regulations for Agricultural Operations (B.C. Reg. 146/93, as amended) and the Industrial Health and Safety Regulation (B.C. Reg. 585/77, as amended) and notice of public hearings pursuant to sections 225 and 226 of the Workers Compensation Act of British Columbia.

Proposed Amendments
The Workers' Compensation Board of British Columbia hereby hereby gives notice of the following proposed amendments, pursuant to sections 225 and 226 of the Workers Compensation Act of British Columbia.
The proposed amendments pertain to the following issues:
Occupational Exposure Limits (various sections in Parts 1, 4, 5, 9, 12, 30 and 31 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation; sections 57, 58 and 85 of the Regulations for Agricultural Operations; and section 8.56 and Appendices A and B of the Industrial Health and Safety Regulation);
Duplication and redundancy (various sections in Parts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 and 32 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation; and sections 52, 53 and 54 of the Regulations for Agricultural Operations); and
Occupational First Aid (various sections in Parts 3, 7, 17, 22, 23, 24, 32 and 33 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation).

Public Hearing
The proposed amendments are subject to the submissions presented in the public hearing process. You are invited to provide comment on the proposed amendments. Your views may be presented orally at the public hearing and/or in writing. If you wish to present at the public hearing, please telephone the number in this notice. Speakers may be asked to limit their oral presentations to a maximum of 10 minutes, depending on time constraints and may, therefore, wish to provide an additional written submission.
