NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
The property described below is subject to forfeiture under Part 3.1 of the CFA and will be forfeited to the Government for disposal by the Director of Civil Forfeiture unless a notice of dispute is filed with the Director within the time period set out in this notice.
A notice of dispute may be filed by a person who claims to have an interest in all or part of the subject property. The notice of dispute must be filed within 60 days of the date upon which this notice is first published. You may obtain a notice of dispute that meets the requirements of Section 14.07 of the CFA, from: www.gov.bc.ca/civilforfeiture.
On February 18, 2015, at 265 East Cordova Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $480 CAD, on or about 15:19 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-4765.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On May 30, 2017, at the Trans Canada Highway near Popkum Road, Rosedale, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Fraser Valley Traffic RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $6,180 CAD, on or about 16:34 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-4974.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 27, 2017, at the 5500 block of 200 Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $834.80 CAD, two Samsung cell phones, and a 2002 grey Ford Focus; BCLP: EG914C; VIN: 3FAFP37372R222101, on or about 03:52 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-4987.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 27, 2017, at the 4300 block of East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2000 blue Volkswagen Jetta; no license; VIN: 3VWSD29M5YM179558, on or about 15:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-4993.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 348(1) (Break and enter) and section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On August 22, 2017, at 2850 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the RCMP Lower Mainland Integrated Road Safety Unit seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $480 CAD and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 16:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5004.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On June 8, 2017, at the 7100 block of Westminster Highway, Richmond, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Richmond RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $590 CAD and a Huawei cell phone, on or about 18:44 Hours, and $375 CAD and a Huawei cell phone, on or about 19:00 Hours. The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On December 3, 2016, at the 1000 block of Hornby Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,055 CAD, on or about 02:25 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5016.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On June 12, 2016, at 88 Avenue & 132 Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $140 CAD, $650 CAD, $240 CAD, a Blackberry cell phone, and an LG cell phone, on or about 20:34 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5018.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 5, 2017, at Buchanan Place & 90 Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,340 CAD, on or about 22:50 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5019.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 24, 2016, at the 19800 block of Willowbrook Drive, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,695 CAD and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 12:48 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5020.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On November 4, 2016, at the 5600 block of 200th Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $450 CAD and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 00:23 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5021.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On July 11, 2016, at 92 Avenue & 137A Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,690 CAD, $20 USD, $665 CAD, a ZTE cell phone, and a Blackberry Bold cell phone, all on or about 19:45 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5022.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On September 15, 2014, at the 20200 block of 66 Avenue, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,665 CAD, an iPhone, and two smart phones, on or about 22:12 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5025.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On April 15, 2017, at the 600 Block of Seymour Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $8,300 CAD, on or about 13:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5026.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On July 18, 2017, at Langley Bypass and Glover Road, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $970.45 CAD, on or about 02:05 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5027.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On June 5, 2017, at East 2nd Avenue & Ontario Street, Vancouver, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Vancouver Police Department seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $2,975 CAD, on or about 02:06 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5028.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 1, 2017, at the 12200 block of Charlie Lake Frontage Road, Charlie Lake, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Fort St. John RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,100 CAD and an Alcatel cell phone, on or about 15:16 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5029.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On June 20, 2017, at the 3000 block of 204th Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $1,025 CAD, on or about 15:08 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5030.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On February 12, 2017, at 11990 Haney Place, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $320 CAD, on or about 04:29 Hours. On February 12, 2017, at the 12200 block of 224th Street, Maple Ridge, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Ridge Meadows RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $220 CAD, on or about 04:09 Hours, $75 CAD, on or about 05:12 Hours, $693 CAD, on or about 05:18 Hours, $22.50 CAD, on or about 06:11 Hours, and $5.10 CAD, on or about 06:20 Hours. The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On February 15, 2014, at 126th Street and 70th Avenue, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $40 CAD and $785 CAD, on or about 15:43 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5038.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On January 4, 2014, at 11th Avenue and Dunsmuir Street, Mission, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Mission RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $60 CAD and an LG cell phone, on or about 23:25 Hours, and $695.25 CAD, on or about 23:30 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5043.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On March 18, 2016, at the 5300 block of 200th Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Langley RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: $650 CAD, $215 CAD, and a ZTE cell phone, on or about 03:44 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5046.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 16, 2017, at the 20100 block 88th Avenue, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2003 Toyota Camry, BCLP: EM532B, VIN: JTDBF30K430092941, on or about 16:43 Hours, and a 2004 Ford F350, BCLP: LH0761, VIN: 1FTSW31P74EC67309, on or about 17:14 Hours.
On August 17, 2017, at the 8100 block 200th Street, Langley, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2017 Ford Mustang, BCLP: EW6397L, VIN: 1FA6P8CF7H5260999, on or about 15:00 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5047.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On September 24, 2016, at 9711 Alaska Road South, Fort St John, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Fort St. John RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: an LG cell phone, on or about 23:00 Hours, and $458.20 CAD, on or about 23:04 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5060.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 29, 2017, on Highway 3 & Highway 3b, near Salmo, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the West Kootenay IRSU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2001 grey Honda Accord; ABLP: BRL8500; VIN: 1HGCG16561A802650, on or about 13:42 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5074.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada.
AND:
On August 1, 2017, at Vernon Street & Josephine Street, Nelson, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the West Kootenay IRSU seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as a: 2008 white Ford F350; BCLP: LC3602; VIN: 1FTWW31R48EC11983, on or about 17:41 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5076.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada and section 354(1) (Possession of property obtained by crime) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
AND:
On July 7, 2016, at 71A Avenue near 134th Street, Surrey, B.C., Peace Officer(s) of the Surrey RCMP seized, at the time indicated, the subject property, described as: a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, BCLP: 720TLS, VIN: 1G1AT15H197205310 , on or about 02:08 Hours, $40 CAD, on or about 01:50 Hours, and $915.60 CAD, on or about 01:31 Hours. CFO file Number: 2017-5089.
The subject property was seized because there was evidence that the subject property had been used in and/or obtained by the commission of an offence (or offences) under section 5(2) (Possession for purpose of trafficking) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act of Canada. [oc5]
