B.C. Reg. 257/2008, deposited September 19, 2008, pursuant to the POLICE ACT [Sections 1, 1.1, 4.2 and 74] and the EMERGENCY PROGRAM ACT [Section 28]. Order in Council 696/2008, approved and ordered September 18, 2008.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the following regulations are amended as set out in the attached Schedule:
1 Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Service Operations Regulation, B.C. Reg. 484/2004;
2 Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Service Regulation, B.C. Reg. 454/2004;
3 Prescribed Entity Regulation, B.C. Reg. 64/99;
4 Prescribed Police Forces Regulation, B.C. Reg. 70/99.

Schedule
1 The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Service Operations Regulation, B.C. Reg. 484/2004, is amended
(a) in the title by striking out "GREATER VANCOUVER" and substituting "SOUTH COAST BRITISH COLUMBIA",
(b) by repealing section 1 and substituting the following:
Definition
1 In this regulation, "SCBCTAPS" means the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Police Service. , and
(c) in sections 2, 3, 4 (1), (2) and (3), 5 (1) and 6 by striking out "GVTAPS" wherever it appears and substituting "SCBCTAPS".
2 The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Police Service Regulation, B.C. Reg. 454/2004, is amended
(a) in the title by striking out "GREATER VANCOUVER" and substituting "SOUTH COAST BRITISH COLUMBIA",
(b) by repealing section 1 and substituting the following:
Definitions
1 In this regulation:
"SCBCTAPS" means the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Police Service;
"transportation service region" has the same meaning as in the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Act. , and
(c) in sections 2 and 3 by striking out "GVTAPS" in each section and substituting "SCBCTAPS".
3 Section 3 of the Prescribed Entity Regulation, B.C. Reg. 64/99, is amended by striking out "The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority established under the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority Act" and substituting "The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority established under the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Act".
4 Section 1 (c) of the Prescribed Police Forces Regulation, B.C. Reg. 70/99, is repealed and the following substituted:
(c) South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Police Service.
