On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 1, 2026, the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix

1 Schedule 1 of the Designated Accommodation Area Tax Regulation, B.C. Reg. 93/2013, is amended in column 4 of item 23.1 by striking out "May 1, 2026" and substituting "May 1, 2031".

2 Schedule 2.1 is amended

(a) in column 3 of item 1 by striking out "2%" and substituting "3%", and

(b) in column 4 of item 1 by striking out "August 1, 2026" and substituting "May 1, 2031".
