HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:
1 The Ministerial Accountability Bases Act, 2003-2004, is amended by adding the following section:
5 For the purposes of sections 5 (1) and 6 (1) of the Balanced Budget and Ministerial Accountability Act in relation to the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women's Services for the 2003-2004 fiscal year, the estimated amount under section 6 (1) of that Act is the sum of
(a) the amounts appropriated for the operating expenses for which that minister is responsible in the main estimates for that fiscal year, and
(b) the amount appropriated under section 1 of the Supply Act, 2003-2004 (Supplementary Estimates No. 4).
2 Section 1 comes into force on the date of Royal Assent.
