Assented to April 14, 1954
WHEREAS it appears doubt and uncertainty exist as to the proper location of the boundaries of the City of Kaslo:
AND WHEREAS for clarity it is deemed advisable to readjust and redefine the boundaries of the said City of Kaslo and to remove any uncertainty with respect to the taxes levied therein:
THEREFORE, HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:—
2 The boundaries of The Corporation of the City of Kaslo are redefined as follows: Commencing at the north-east corner of Lot 208, Kootenay Land District, being a point on the westerly high-water mark of Kootenay Lake; thence easterly five hundred feet in a straight line and in a direct perpendicular to the general direction of the said westerly high-water mark of Kootenay Lake at this point; thence in a general southerly direction and parallel to said high-water mark of Kootenay Lake to a point five hundred feet distant from the south-east corner of Lot 209, said point being in an easterly direction perpendicular to the general direction of said westerly high-water mark of Kootenay Lake; thence westerly in a straight line to said south-east corner of Lot 209; thence westerly along the southerly boundaries of Lots 209 and 209a to the south-west corner of said Lot 209a; thence northerly along the westerly boundaries of Lots 209a and 208 to the north-west corner of said Lot 208; thence easterly along the northerly boundary of said Lot 208 to the north-east corner thereof, being the point of commencement.

3 That the municipal limits of The Corporation of the City of Kaslo as published in the Gazette of the twentieth day of March, 1930, at page 664, shall be deemed to have included from the said date Lot 209a, Kootenay Land District.

4 All Acts and all by-laws of the city with respect to the area as now defined, including assessments made and taxes levied, are hereby validated.
