WHEREAS the Select Standing Committee on Forestry and Fisheries, after due investigation of a purported sale of the timber on Mount Bruce Park, has recommended that the standing and felled timber on the said Mount Bruce Park should be offered to one Mohan Singh at the stumpage rates hereinafter set out:
AND WHEREAS it is deemed to be equitable and in the public interest to implement the recommendation of the Select Standing Committee:
NOW, THEREFORE, HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:—

Notwithstanding the provisions of the "Forest Act" or the regulations made thereunder, the Minister of Lands and Forests is authorized to sell the standing and felled timber on Mount Bruce Park to Mohan Singh at the following stumpage rates, inclusive of royalty:—
Douglas fir, six dollars and fifty cents per thousand feet, board measure:
Cedar, two dollars and fifteen cents per thousand feet, board measure:
Hemlock, two dollars and five cents per thousand feet, board measure:
Other species, five dollars per thousand feet, board measure.
