WHEREAS at the date of his death on the eleventh day of January, 1957, Ernest Edward Winch was a member of the Legislative Assembly, and it is fitting that the Legislature and the people of British Columbia acknowledge his public service by making the grant hereinafter provided:

Short title

1 This Act may be cited as the "Ernest Edward Winch Act."

Payment of grant from Consolidated Revenue Fund

2 There shall be paid to Linda Marion Winch, widow of Ernest Edward Winch, out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Province, the sum of four thousand four hundred dollars.
