WHEREAS the late Philip Archibald Gibbs did not attend the current session of the Legislative Assembly:

AND WHEREAS, at the date of his death on the fourth day of March, 1960, Philip Archibald Gibbs was a member of the Legislative Assembly, and it is fitting that the Legislature and the people of British Columbia acknowledge his public service by making the grant hereinafter provided:

THEREFORE, HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:—

Short title

1 This Act may be cited as the Margaret Copeland Gibbs Act.

Payment of grant from Consolidated Revenue Fund

2 There shall be paid to Margaret Copeland Gibbs, out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of five thousand dollars.
