Evidence Act

Designation Regulation No. 2

[Last amended June 28, 2024 by B.C. Reg. 132/2024]

Designated organization

1   The following are designated as an organization of health care professionals for the purposes of the definition of "organization of health care professionals" in section 51 (1) of the Evidence Act:

(a) the Association of Doctors of BC;

(b) the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia;

(c) the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals, but only with respect to health care professionals who are authorized to use the title "dentist";

(d) the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives;

(e) and (f) Repealed. [B.C. Reg. 152/2018, s. 1.]

(g) the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia, but only with respect to health care professionals who are authorized to practise the designated health profession of physical therapy;

(h) the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia;

(i) the College of Complementary Health Professionals of British Columbia, but only with respect to health care professionals who are authorized to practise the designated health profession of massage therapy;

(k) the Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board.
