Required Consent (Simpcw First Nation — Reviewable Mine Projects) Regulation

Definition

1   In this regulation, "consent agreement" means the agreement between the government and the Simpcw First Nation titled "Consent Decision-Making Agreement for Mine Projects", negotiated and entered into under section 7 (1) (b) of the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act and dated July 15, 2026.

Consent agreement prescribed

2   For the purposes of section 7 (b) (ii) [required consent] of the Environmental Assessment Act, the consent agreement is prescribed as it relates to the Yellowhead Copper Project.
