1 Except to the extent that the administration of the Safety Standards Act or regulations made under that Act is delegated to a local government, the administration of the following enactments is delegated to the British Columbia Safety Authority:
(a) the Safety Standards Act, S.B.C. 2003, c. 39, except for sections 4, 5, 6, 8, 43 to 48, 51 to 62, 81, 83 to 85, 87 to 90 and 91.1;
(b) the Electrical Safety Regulation;
(c) the Elevating Devices Safety Regulation;
(d) the Gas Safety Regulation;
(e) the Safety Standards General Regulation;
(f) the Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Refrigeration Safety Regulation;
(g) the Alternative Safety Approaches Regulation.

2 (1) For the purpose of administering, subject to subsection (2), within the jurisdiction of each of the local governments referred to in column 1 of the table, the regulations referred to in column 2 of the table, the administration of
(a) the Safety Standards Act, except for sections 4, 5, 6, 8, 12 (1), 14 (1), 20, 21, 43 to 48, 51 to 62, 81, 83 to 90 and 91.1,
(b) the Safety Standards General Regulation,
(b.1) the Alternative Safety Approaches Regulation, and
(c) the regulations referred to in column 2 of the table
is delegated to the local government referred to in column 1 of the table.

(2) For the purposes of this section, the jurisdiction of the City of Vancouver does not include the excluded port lands.
(3) In this section, "excluded port lands" means that portion of the lands described in Schedule B, titled "Vancouver Fraser Port Authority Description of Federal Real Property" of the Letters Patent for the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority set out in Order in Council P.C. 2007-1885 included within the boundaries of the City of Vancouver.
