Definitions

1   In this regulation:

"Act" means the Probate Fee Act;

"Memorial Grant Program" means the Memorial Grant Program for First Responders established by the government of Canada.

Remission of probate fee

2   Authorization is given for the remission of a fee paid or payable by a person under section 2 of the Act in respect of an amount provided to the estate of a deceased under the Memorial Grant Program if the fee is paid or becomes payable on or after July 1, 2021.
