Home Mortgage Assistance Program Act
Administration Regulation
Minister may designate employees
1 The Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations may, in respect of loans made under the Home Conversion and Leasehold Loan Act, Home Purchase Assistance Act, Homeowner Interest Assistance Act and Provincial Home Acquisition Act and transferred pursuant to an agreement between the government and the Bank of Montreal, designate employees of the Bank of Montreal to, as part of the administration under the agreement
(a) discharge mortgages or charges under the Land Title Act or Manufactured Home Act, as the case may be, when the loans relating to those mortgages or charges have been paid in full, and
(b) execute such further documents and assurances as may be necessary to give effect to the provisions of the agreement.
