Wildlife Management Areas Regulation

Wildlife Management Areas

1   The following areas of land are designated as Wildlife Management Areas:

(1) Repealed. [B.C. Reg. 263/98.]

(2) Pitt-Addington Marsh

All those lands and foreshore and lands covered by water situated in New Westminster District and more particularly outlined in red on the attached Schedule 2;

(3) Repealed. [B.C. Reg. 263/98.]

(4) Chilanko Marsh

All that unencumbered and unalienated land, Range 3, Coast District more particularly outlined in red in the attached Schedule 4;

(5) Repealed. [B.C. Reg. 165/2013, s. (a).]

(6) Tranquille

All the lands and foreshore, Kamloops Division of Yale District, more particularly described in the attached Schedule 6.

Tranquille Wildlife Management Area

Those lands and foreshore enclosed by a line commencing at the south western corner of Lot A, G.2 (Lytton) proceeding easterly along the southern boundary (the dyke) of said Lot to a point made with the intersection of the southward extension of the western boundary of Section 20, Township 20, Range 18, W6M, hence 3219 meters on a bearing of 283 degrees true, then 553 meters on a bearing of 345 degrees true, hence 415 meters on a bearing of 40 degrees true to a point on the high water mark of Lot 342, G.1, K.D.Y.D., hence easterly along the boundary of L342 to the southeast corner of L342, hence northerly along the east boundary of L342 to the embankment of Road 4743 (Tranquille Road), hence easterly along the embankment of Road 4743 to the intersection of the northern boundary of Lot 341, G.1, K.D.Y.D., hence westerly, southerly and easterly along the boundary of the said Lot to the point of commencement, as shown in red on the attached 1:20 000 map.

Area = 253 hectares, more or less

Schedules 2, 4 and 5 and the map attached to Schedule 6 are exempt from publication and may be inspected at the offices of the Wildlife Branch, Ministry of Environment, Victoria, B.C.

All those parts of Township 20 and Township 21, Range 20, west of the Sixth Meridian, Kamloops Division of Yale District more particularly outlined in red in the attached Schedule 5;
