Provincial Court Practice Directions Regulation

Application

1   This regulation applies in respect of proceedings before the Provincial Court under the Family Law Act in which an order for guardianship, parenting arrangements, contact or support is sought or in which variation of such an order is sought.

Directions to attend parenting programs

2   (1) The Chief Judge of the Provincial Court may give directions requiring parties in proceedings to attend parenting programs operated by the Ministry of Attorney General.

(2) The Chief Judge may designate registries of the Provincial Court to which a direction under subsection (1) applies.
