Hydro and Power Authority Privatization Act
Designation as a Special Company Regulation (296604 B.C. Ltd.)
Whereas
A. B.C. Gas Inc. is a special company designated under the Hydro and Power Authority
Privatization Act;
B. 296604 B.C. Ltd. intends to acquire as part of an arrangement referred to in section 252 (1) of the Company Act all of the voting shares of B.C. Gas Inc.;
C. As part of the arrangement, 296604 B.C. Ltd. will be renamed "BC Gas Inc." and BC Gas Inc. will be renamed "BC Gas Utility Ltd.";
D. 296604 B.C. Ltd. requests that it be designated a special company under section 24 (1) (d) of the Hydro and Power Authority Privatization Act.
Designation as special company
1 Effective immediately after acquisition by 296604 B.C. Ltd. of all of the voting shares of BC Gas Inc. as part of an arrangement referred to in section 252 (1) of the Company Act, 296604 B.C. Ltd., to be renamed "BC Gas Inc.", is designated as a special company.
