Health Care Consent Regulation

27 Section 3 of the Health Care Consent Regulation, B.C. Reg. 20/2000, is repealed and the following substituted:

3 The following Acts are prescribed for the purposes of the definition of "health care provider" in section 1 of the Act:

(a) Health Professions and Occupations Act;

(b) Social Workers Act.

28 Section 5 (1) is amended by striking out "physician" wherever it appears and substituting "medical practitioner".

29 Section 16 is amended by striking out "Health Professions Act" and substituting "Health Professions and Occupations Act".
