Land Act; Motor Vehicle (All Terrain) Act
Prohibition Regulation No. 8
Interpretation
1 In this regulation:
"all terrain vehicles" means all terrain vehicles as defined in the Motor Vehicle (All Terrain) Act;
"designated area" means the lands outlined in red in the schedule to this regulation. [Blackcomb Mountain]
Prohibited uses
2 No land in the designated area may be used for
(a) the operation of an all terrain vehicle,
(b) the operation of a ski school,
(c) tobogganing, sledding, ski bobbing and any ski or snow recreational activity other than skiing, and
(d) hang gliding
by any person other than Fortress Mountain Resorts Ltd. and its agents, employees and contractors.
Notice
3 The Minister of Sustainable Resource Management is authorized to sign and publish a notice prohibiting the uses set out in section 2.
