Section 31 (6) of Environmental Assessment Act not applicable in specified circumstances

1   (1) Section 31 (6) of the Environmental Assessment Act does not apply in relation to Environmental Assessment Certificate # E18-01 if, under section 31 (3) of that Act, the chief executive assessment officer is conducting a review of an application made under section 31 (2) of that Act by the holder of the certificate.

(2) If, under section 31 (4) (a) of the Environmental Assessment Act, the chief executive assessment officer extends the deadline specified in Environmental Assessment Certificate # E18-01, section 31 (6) of that Act does not apply in relation to the certificate until the end of the period of the extension.
