Administrative Tribunals Reporting Regulation

Definitions

1   In this regulation:

"Act" means the Administrative Tribunals Act;

"tribunal" means a tribunal to which section 59.2 [reporting] of the Act applies.

Reporting year

2   (1) A tribunal may set one of the following as the date on which the tribunal's reporting year begins:

(a) January 1;

(b) April 1.

(2) A tribunal's reporting year ends at the end of the date before the date set under subsection (1).

(3) If a tribunal does not set a date under subsection (1), the tribunal's reporting year begins on April 1.

When reports are due

3   A tribunal must submit, in writing, the information required by section 59.2 of the Act to the minister responsible for the tribunal, as soon as practicable after the end of the tribunal's reporting year.
