Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel International Student Health Fee Remission Regulation

Definitions

1   In this regulation:

"international student beneficiary" means an international student beneficiary as defined in directive M483/2019 issued under section 47 (1) of the Financial Administration Act;

"Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel" means an authorization issued by the government of Canada under Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel measures.

Remission of international student health fee

2   Authorization is given for the remission of the amount of the health fee established under directive M483/2019 issued under section 47 (1) of the Financial Administration Act that was paid or is payable on or after March 1, 2022 by each international student beneficiary who is or was in British Columbia under a study permit issued under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada) that contains or contained a notation made under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel.
