Section 1 definitions "waste heat" and "waste hydrogen" were added by BC Reg 81/2011, effective May 6, 2011.

Section 1 definition of "waste heat" BEFORE amended by BC Reg 69/2025, effective May 30, 2025.

"waste heat" means heat produced by a commercial process the primary purpose of which is not the production of heat;

2 Biogenic waste is a prescribed resource for the purposes of the definition of "clean or renewable resource" in section 1 (1) of the Act.
