and who is in possession of a firearm for use in connection with his official duties, is authorized to discharge, carry or have in his possession, in or on a conveyance mentioned in section 9 of the Firearm Act, a firearm containing live ammunition in its breech or in its magazine when he is acting in the performance of those official duties.

(2) A person who is in possession of a firearm for use in connection with his employment by an armoured car guard service is authorized to discharge, carry or have in his possession, in or on a conveyance mentioned in section 9 of the Firearm Act, a firearm containing live ammunition in its breech or in its magazine when he is acting in the course of that employment.
