Community-Based Biomass Call Exemption Regulation

Definitions

1   In this regulation:

"Act" means the Utilities Commission Act;

"project proponent" means a person who enters into an energy supply contract with the authority as a result of the call referred to in section 2, or the successors or assigns of the person.

Exemption

2   The authority and all project proponents are exempt from section 71 of the Act with respect to the community-based biomass call for electricity that the authority is engaged in on the date this regulation comes into force.
