Natural Products Marketing (BC) Act
B.C. Tree Fruit Marketing Board Powers and Duties Regulation
Whereas the British Columbia Fruit Board was empowered to administer the British Columbia Tree Fruit Marketing Scheme, 1960, established by order in council 1079/60, made on May 6, 1960, pursuant to the Natural Products Marketing (British Columbia) Act;
And Whereas the said board has been granted authority by Privy Council Order No. 1960/816, made on June 17, 1960, pursuant to the Agricultural Products Marketing Act, R.S.C. 1952, chapter 6, to regulate the marketing in interprovincial and export trade of any tree fruit grown within the area as defined in the said Scheme, and for such purposes may, with reference to persons and property situated within the Province of British Columbia, exercise powers like the powers exercisable by it in relation to the marketing of such tree fruits locally within the said Province under section 4.01 (a) to (c), (f) to (j) and (l) of the said order in council 1079/60 (B.C. Reg. 108/60):
Exercise of powers
1 The exercise of the said powers granted by the said Privy Council Order No. 1960/816 are hereby approved.
