1 A limited partnership formed outside the Province is eligible to register its name under section 80 of the Partnership Act, if the partnership was formed in
(a) any other province or territory of Canada,
(3) For the purposes of sections 109 (3), 121 (3) and 123 (2), the prescribed fee is $10.00 to see the list, plus $0.50 each page for a copy.

5 For the purposes of section 98 (1) (b) of the Act, a notice must be published on a website maintained by or on behalf of the government of British Columbia.

6 (1) For the purposes of the Act, the prescribed address for a partner in a limited liability partnership is that described under subsection (2) (a) or (b) and specified in the records of the partnership for this purpose.
(2) To specify the address for a partner for purposes of subsection (1), one but not both of the following paragraphs must be specified:
(a) the delivery address of the partnership and, if different from that delivery address, the mailing address of that partnership;
(b) the delivery address of the office or residence at which the partner can usually be served with records during statutory business hours and, if different from that delivery address, the mailing address of that office or residence.

7 (1) For the purposes of section 89 (4) of the Partnership Act, a business name referred to in that section must not resemble any of the following to such an extent that, in the opinion of the registrar, the business name is likely to confuse or mislead:
(a) the name of a corporation incorporated, amalgamated, continued or otherwise formed in British Columbia;
(b) the name or assumed name under which a corporation is registered
(i) under the Business Corporations Act as an extraprovincial company as defined in section 1 (1) of that Act,
(ii) under the Cooperative Association Act as an extraprovincial association as defined in section 1 (1) of that Act, or
(iii) under the Societies Act as an extraprovincial non-share corporation as defined in section 1 of that Act;
(c) a name or assumed name reserved under the Business Corporations Act, the Cooperative Association Act or the Societies Act.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a business name that, as set out in that subsection, resembles the name or assumed name of a corporation referred to in subsection (1) (a) to (c) if
(a) the corporation consents in writing to the reservation of the business name, or
(b) the applicant for reservation of the business name used that name before the corporation first used its name or assumed name.
