Application of this regulation

1   This regulation applies to the Minister of State for Community Safety and Integrated Services for the 2024/2025 fiscal year.

Definition

2   In this regulation, "Act" means the Balanced Budget and Ministerial Accountability Act.

Minister of State for Community Safety and Integrated Services

3   The expected results that the Minister of State for Community Safety and Integrated Services is to achieve for the purposes of section 5 (3) of the Act are as follows:

(a) engage with local governments, community associations and the Province's business community to discuss issues relating to the incidence of street disorder in the Province;

(b) support ministries and stakeholders in the development of strategies to mitigate the impact of street disorder on local governments, community associations and the Province's business community;

(c) prepare a workplan respecting the fulfillment of each of the commitments identified in the mandate letter for the Minister of State for Community Safety and Integrated Services;

(d) submit a report to Cabinet on the results referred to in paragraphs (a) to (c) on or before March 31, 2025.
