Section 1 definition of "councillor" BEFORE amended by BC Reg 117/2018, effective June 15, 2018.

"councillor" means a councillor appointed to the council of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality under section 13 (3) (c) (i) [appointment by minister] of the Local Government Act.

Section 3 BEFORE amended by BC Reg 64/2021, effective March 11, 2021.

3 Section 108 [restrictions on use of insider information] of the Act does not apply to a councillor in respect of a pecuniary interest of the nature prescribed under section 2 during the term of his or her appointment.
