  Section 1 definition of "conservation officer" BEFORE amended by 2002-27-8, effective May 9, 2002 (Royal Assent).

"conservation officer" means a conservation officer under the Wildlife Act;

  Section 1 definition of "conservation officer" BEFORE amended by 2003-53-149, effective July 8, 2004 (BC Reg 317/2004).

"conservation officer" means a conservation officer defined in section 1 (1) of the Environment Management Act;

  Section 2 (1) BEFORE amended by 2003-52-68, effective January 1, 2004 (BC Reg 465/2003, repealing BC Reg 428/2003).

(1)  Despite a regulation under section 108 (2) (n) or (o) of the Wildlife Act or a bylaw under section 728 (1) (a) of the Local Government Act, the chief provincial firearms officer may issue a permit authorizing a person to establish and maintain an indoor shooting range and to discharge a firearm in the indoor shooting range.
