Section 2 BEFORE amended by 2002-14-115, effective August 19, 2002 (BC Reg 208/2002).

2 The account consists of 1/2 of the amounts that are paid into the consolidated revenue fund under section 8 of the Lottery Corporation Act up to a maximum in each fiscal year that is equal to the amount shown in the Estimates as revenue in the Health Special Account for that fiscal year.

2 The account consists of 1/2 of the amounts that are paid into the consolidated revenue fund under section 13 of the Gaming Control Act up to a maximum in each fiscal year that is equal to the amount shown in the Estimates as revenue in the Health Special Account for that fiscal year.

Expenditures

3 On the written authorization of the Minister of Health, money may be paid out of the account for the administration, operation and delivery of health care, health research, health promotion and health education services.
