  Section 3 BEFORE amended by 2004-65-7, effective September 1, 2005 (BC Reg 179/2005).

(1)  The Provincial Court has jurisdiction in a claim for

(a) debt or damages,

(b) recovery of personal property,

(c) specific performance of an agreement relating to personal property or services, or

(d) relief from opposing claims to personal property

if the amount claimed or the value of the personal property or services is $10 000 or less, excluding interest and costs.

  Section 3 (3) was added by 2015-16-44, effective June 1, 2017 (BC Reg 111/2017).

(3) This section is subject to sections 14.1 and 56.3 of the Civil Resolution Tribunal Act.

21  The Lieutenant Governor in Council may make regulations referred to in section 41 of the Interpretation Act.
