B.C. Reg. 27/2004, deposited January 27, 2004, pursuant to the MINERAL TENURE ACT [Section 22]. Regulation of the Chief Gold Commissioner, dated January 27, 2004.

I, Gerald German, Chief Gold Commissioner, Ministry of Energy and Mines, order that

(a) the reserves established by B.C. Regs. 489/80 and 45/84 are cancelled and the regulations repealed, and

(b) the regulations listed in the schedule to this order are amended as indicated in that schedule.

Schedule

1 B.C. Regs. 203/87, 198/90, 243/96, 211/99, 199/87, 21/93, 198/98 and 50/85 are amended in each case by repealing section 2 and substituting the following:

2 A free miner may locate or record a mineral or placer claim on all or part of the land in the reserve established by section 1 subject to the conditions listed in section 3.

3 A free miner must not obstruct, endanger or interfere with or allow any other person to obstruct, endanger or interfere with the construction, operation or maintenance of a ski development in the reserve established by section 1.

2 B.C. Reg. 199/87 is amended by repealing the sketch entitled "Last Mountain No Staking Mineral and Placer Reserve" and substituting the sketch entitled "Crystal Mountain", attached to this order.

3 B.C. Reg. 21/93 is amended by repealing the sketch entitled "Silver Star Ski Hill" and substituting the sketch entitled "Silver Star", attached to this order.

4 B.C. Reg. 198/98 is amended by repealing the sketch entitled "Whitetooth Ski Hill" and substituting the sketch entitled "Golden Peaks", attached to this order.

5 B.C. Regs. 135/92, 310/94 and 196/98 are amended in each case by repealing section 2 and substituting the following:

2 A free miner may locate or record a mineral claim on all or part of the land in the reserve established by section 1 subject to the conditions listed in section 3.

3 A free miner must not obstruct, endanger or interfere with or allow any other person to obstruct, endanger or interfere with the construction, operation or maintenance of a ski development in the reserve established by section 1.

Re: B.C. Reg. 27/2004

Pursuant to section 6 of the Regulations Act, I hereby exempt from publication the sketches attached to B.C. Reg. 27/2004.

These sketches can be seen at the offices of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, titles Branch, 1810 Blanshard Street, Victoria, B.C. V8W 9N3.
