B.C. Reg. 62/2004, deposited February 27, 2004, pursuant to the ANIMAL DISEASE CONTROL ACT [Section 20]. Order in Council 165/2004, approved and ordered February 26, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective April 1, 2004, the Animal Disease Control Regulation, B.C. Reg. 150/66, is amended as set out in this order.

1 The Animal Disease Control Regulation is amended in section 1 by repealing the definitions of "operator" and "outlet" and substituting the following definition:

"operator" means the operator of a public sale yard or slaughterhouse licensed under Division 6.

2 Section 6.02 is amended by adding ", a public sale yard licence, an auctioneer's licence" after "a licence to deal in hides".

3 Section 6.03 is amended by renumbering it 6.03 (1) and adding the following subsection:

(2) An auctioneer's licence or a public sale yard licence expires on December 31 next following its date of issue.

4 Schedule 4 is amended by adding the following:

Item Fee
For an auctioneer's licence $50
For a public sale yard operator's licence $50
