B.C. Reg. 72/2004, deposited February 27, 2004, pursuant to the SECURITIES ACT [Section 184 (10)] and the SECURITIES AMENDMENT ACT, 2003 [Section 17]. Order in Council 192/2004, approved and ordered February 26, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective February 28, 2004,

(a) sections 5, 7, 8, 9 and 13 (c) of the Securities Amendment Act, 2003, S.B.C. 2003, c. 24, are brought into force by this regulation, and

(b) the Securities Rules, B.C. Reg. 194/97, is amended

(i) by repealing section 155,

(ii) in section 155.1 (2) by striking out "87 (4)" and substituting "87 (5)",

(iii) in section 155.1 (3) by striking out "87 (5)" and substituting "87 (6)", and

(iv) in section 155.1 by adding the following subsection:

(4) For the purpose of section 87.1 of the Act, the prescribed date is March 9, 2004.
