B.C. Reg. 124/2004, deposited March 26, 2004, pursuant to the GREATER VANCOUVER TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY ACT [Section 46]. Order in Council 327/2004, approved and ordered March 25, 2004.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Greater Vancouver Transit Conduct and Safety Regulation, B.C. Reg. 87/99, is amended in accordance with the attached Schedule.

Schedule

1 Section 2 of the Greater Vancouver Transit Conduct and Safety Regulation, B.C. Reg. 87/99, is amended by striking out "8 (1) to (3) (d)" and substituting "8 (1) to (3) (h)".

2 Section 5 is amended by adding the following subsection:

(3) Except as permitted by the tariff, a person who is not a transit employee must not sell, trade, barter or otherwise transfer or attempt to sell, trade, barter or otherwise transfer any proof of payment to any person without the prior authorization of the authority.

3 Section 8 (1) is amended by striking out "person must not" and substituting "A person must not".

4 Section 8 (3) is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

(f) prevent or delay the closing of a transit vehicle door,

(g) extend or project any part of the person's body or any object through the window of a transit vehicle, or

(h) ride or stand on or hold onto the exterior of a transit vehicle.

5 Section 9 is amended

(a) in subsection (1) by striking out "7 (a), (b) or (c)" and substituting "7 (a) or (c) or 8 (2)", and

(b) in subsection (4) by striking out "section 8 (1) or (3) (a), (b), (c), (d) or (e)" and substituting "section 5 (3), 7 (b) or 8 (1) or (3) (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) or (h)".
